Independence Drive, Funhouse, 1.5.06

First show of 2006. Woooo! Alright, I have to admit, before the show, I said to Dan, "OK, these guys are emo covers of Led Zeppelin," and he's like, "Alternative covers of Grateful Dead." And at first I was right, but in the true Funhouse fashion of crowd participation, I requested (vehemently, loudly) "El Scorcho," and damned if they didn't play it! I fucking rocked out harder than anyone has ever rocked out at the Funhouse before (maybe), because that's like my favorite rock-out song. And then, just because I'm an ass, I yelled for "Undone (The Sweater Song)", and DAMNED IF THEY DIDN'T PLAY THAT TOO! Again, I rocked out, tossed my sweater to the band, and it was fucking awesome. So...Independence Drive will be playing the PC Pub in Pennsbury this Saturday, 1/7, and I highly recommend you show your face to have it rocked off. I, unfortunately, will probably not be able to make it, but definitely a fun time if you can make it.
