LCD Soundsystem, Nokia Theater Times Square, 11.23.05

Once again, zoto fucking blows. I'm not even sure if these pictures will show up. Anyway...

I drove up with Dan to NYC Wednesday afternoon. (Taking the bus would have meant spending the night, and I wasn't sure I had a place to stay.) We had some kind of unfamiliar fish products at a sushi place in the Village for lunch and wandered through a few shops. "The Final Countdown" was playing at American Apparel. Dinner at a Ukranian restaurant. I think Brooklyn Lager (or Pilsner, IPA, etc.) is the only thing that's cheaper in New York than it is in Bethlehem.

The Nokia Theater at Times Square really is a pretty awesome place after all. It was pricey, but it's small enough that you're never too far from the stage (think Orange Peel size), and the sound was good. Maybe too good. Once again, no "Beat Connection."
